About Design

We know that climate action is needed. Minneapolis city policy-makers, businesses and residents all have a role to play. Here is Part 1 of the MPLS Green series on how Minneapolis is focusing efforts on sustainability, and why.

The good news: there is smart sustainable design in Minneapolis. Not everyone agrees on how to best do it, of course. And many home designers are frustrated with outdated building codes that make true sustainability harder to achieve.

A future MPLSGreen forum will explore the best practices, and frustrations, of energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other environmental-impact issues.
